On Friday February 9, SMUSD announced that, in partnership with Caltech, San Marino High School will be offering a new STEM Research Course for the 2018-2019 school year! The honors-level, UC approved course will be co-taught by the high school’s computer science and mathematics teachers, and students will travel to Caltech twice a month, and work under the direction of one of four professors. The San Marino Schools Foundation is thrilled to hear of this amazing opportunity for our high school students! As Dr. Gates said, “There’s no way to overstate this opportunity! Knowing next school year, SMHS students and teachers will define problems, conduct research, and design lab investigations at Caltech with Caltech Professors, shatter perceptions of what’s possible in public education!” Go Titans!
