2018 In Review

2018 was an exciting and successful year. New innovative programs, like the Caltech STEM Research Course at the high school and the district-wide Wellness Initiative, came to life. Both the Carver and Valentine First Lego League teams competed in the Regional FLL competition, and Carver’s very own Carver Coding Crashers placed eighth in their rookie year. The Barth Athletic Complex construction reached and completed multiple phases, bringing the structure closer to completion. And finally, SMUSD was ranked #1 in the state…again, remaining at the top for another straight year in a row.

Innovative academic programs, various extra-cirricular opportunities, consistent curriculum growth – none of this would be possible without our SMSF donors. Donations impact multiple facets within the district, including, but not limited to, scholarship programs, teaching positions at all four school sites, and enrichment programs throughout SMUSD. Our donors make this all possible. Thank YOU for your support throughout 2018.

Have a safe and Happy New Year!
