In honor of their daughter, Leslie Noelle LienJun Mar, Harry and Patricia Mar set up a scholarship at the San Marino Schools Foundation. Scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors this year and for future years to come.
The deadline to apply is Monday, May 6.
Leslie was the co-captain of the cheerleading squad, played varsity volleyball, played trumpet in the Wind Ensemble, participated in ASB and was the Spirit Commissioner during her senior year, and performed in SMHS’s yearly musical and dance shows.
She then went on to graduate from Washington State University with a Business Degree in Finance from the Carson College of Business and began her career at Fisher Investments in Washington State.
The Leslie Noelle LienJun Memorial Scholarship awards two graduating seniors who demonstrate well-rounded excellence in academics, athletics, and arts, and special consideration will be given to students who demonstrate leadership in any area of school activities.
