Yard Signs are coming beginning May 16! Every year, the San Marino Schools Foundation installs yard signs to thank families who have donated to the Foundation. These signs allow donors who have contributed a minimum of $100 to our Annual Campaign to proudly show their support of our public schools and children.
The Yard Sign Campaign is as much of a tradition as the tradition of educational excellence in San Marino schools. If you have already donated this year, thank you! A yard sign will be planted in your yard! If you haven’t donated this year and would like to receive a yard sign, please send in your minimum $100 donation to our Annual Campaign by May 14 to ensure you receive a yard sign. You can contribute by donating on our website here, walking a check to the SMSF offices located at 1665 West Drive in San Marino, or by calling the Foundation Office at 626.299.7014 and donating over the phone.
Donations to SMSF empower excellence in our schools and children. Due to tax policies in Sacramento, very little of our local parcel tax dollars fund our public schools in San Marino, resulting in us receiving less funding than almost all public school districts in the state.
Every year, SMSF looks to the community and parents to make up this difference. Last year, contributions totaling $2.5 million funded 21 full-time teachers; Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs; and emotional resiliency initiatives – all going towards helping us remain California’s top-ranked school district.
For our children to flourish – and to achieve even more – we need you!
