SMSF's Second Town Hall: Curriculum and Instruction

The San Marino Schools Foundation, in collaboration with the District and SMUSD School Board, hosted our second town hall focusing on Curriculum and Instruction on Wednesday, March 6. Jason Kurtenbach, SMUSD Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, moderated the town hall, which utilized the Ask Me Anything format, an approach to prioritize pre-submitted questions from parents and community members.

A panel of principals and teachers from each school answered questions ranging from homework policy to foreign language curriculum. If you were unable to attend the event, or watch the live stream, you can view the full town hall here {link}. If you participated in the town hall, either in person or through the live stream, please fill out this survey {link} to ensure that our future town halls are as productive as possible.

Thank you to Dr. Michael Lin (Carver), Mrs. Martha McInnes (Carver), Mrs. Colleen Shields (Valentine), Mrs. Jessica Bulgin (Valentine), Mrs. Alana Faure (HMS), Mrs. Leticia Aranda (HMS), Dr. Issaic Gates (SMHS), Mrs. Jamie Linton (SMHS), and Mr. Jason Kurtenbach for participating in our panel.
