San Marino High School, in collaboration with the Class of 1958 and PTAffiliates, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new marquee on Monday, June 17, 2019. This marquee uses up to date software allowing the administration to easily change the information displayed right from their computers.
The Class of 1958 spearheaded the marquee project and raised part of the funds needed during their class reunion back in the summer of 2018. All gifts were held by SMSF as temporarily restricted until the District and the High School were ready for the project to begin. Temporarily restricted gifts allow donors to specify where they would like their donations to go, whether it be a program or for a specific purpose, like the high school marquee.
